TelePathology - To provide physicians with expert secondary diagnostic analyses of images taken from histopathological slides. The use of digital microscopes, coupled with the capture technology in OpenMed™ Capture allows the acquisition of pathological slide images for remote reading of pathological slides. Further research into telemetry and remotely controllable microscopes would herald depth control and magnification adjustment into this acquisition modality.
