Application Suite

OpenMediX (OMX) application suite is made up of four main applications namely OMX Server, OMX Desktop, OMX Web and OMX Imaging. With OMX Server offering centralized application services and data repository, other application modules provide specialized functionalities for various system setup and environment. OMX application suite is built from ground up with several small and manageable modules that work as one single system in a heterogeneous deployment.

 

OMX Server
OMX Server is the core integral part of OMX Application suite. It manages every TeleConsultation transaction from the source acquisition to the destination with the various modules namely Service Manager, Video Conferencing Server, Analysis and Reporting Service, and Security and Utility Service.


 

OMX Desktop Client
OMX Desktop Client is an all-in-one desktop application for users who would like to create, edit, attend TeleConsultation cases and interact with TeleConsultation activities. OMX Desktop Client offers both interactive video conferencing and store and forward case sending capability from a single application. It is also designed for interfacing with high-end medical enablers, such as, film digitizers, ultrasound machines, electronic microscopes, electronic ECG and electronic stethoscopes.

OMX Web Portal
OMX Web Portal acts as a gateway to access TeleConsultation data from a web browser. It also provides a common interface for users to perform web-based administration, collaboration and content managing. It expends TeleConsultation network by allowing every authorized users who can access the network from a web browser with a very intuitive and responsive web modules. It is designed to be easy to use by following conventions from existing OMX desktop applications to help user in minimizing the learning curve.
